Thirteen candidates will go head-to-head in the first of the Clare FM Local Election debates this morning.
Five sitting councillors, along with 8 hopefuls in the Ennis Local Electoral Area will set out their stalls, ahead of polling day on June 7th.

The issues of social and affordable housing, as well as Ennis 2040 will be up for discussion in the debate, which gets underway on Clare FM’s Morning Focus from 9am this morning.
The debates, which have taken place in the Council Chamber at Áras Contae an Chláir, will continue for the rest of this week, with candidates from the remaining electoral areas taking part in the coming days.
