Councillor Hits Out At Level Of Funding To Tackle Litter In Clare

The Government has been criticised over the low level of funding allocated towards tackling litter and graffiti in Co. Clare.

884,000 euro has been announced by Environment Minister Denis Naughten for the entire country, with only 23,000 earmarked for the banner.

The money is issued through the government’s Anti-Litter and Anti-Graffiti Awareness Grant Scheme which aims to raise awareness about these issues.
