University Hospital Limerick is more overcrowded than the next three busiest hospitals in the country combined today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, 127 patients were on trolleys there on this morning’s rounds.

The next busiest facility is Cork University Hospital where 52 patients were documented without a bed.
The MidWest region’s main hospital is also 84% more overcrowded than all ten Eastern Hospitals combined today.
