Thousands of homes, farms and businesses across the country are without a power supply this morning, following high winds and extreme weather events.
ESB Networks says its working to restore supply to just under 3 thousand properties.

126 of those are in Clare, including 95 connected to the Scariff line and 31 in the greater Cratloe area.
The estimated restoration time for Cratloe is 2pm, while it’s not yet known when supply will be restored in East Clare.
Met Eireann has now lifted a series of weather warnings, but says motorists could still face localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult driving conditions this morning.
