A new initiative has been launched that will aim to make Clare’s public restrooms more suitable for people recovering from prostate cancer.
The ‘Dispose with Dignity’ campaign is seeking to roll out sanitary bins and vending products in men’s toilets across the country.

According to the Irish Cancer Society, 116 Clare people are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer every year and more than half feel anxious about going out in public due to a lack of suitable toilet facilities.
Personal Hygiene Solutions Group Managing Director, Eoin Foley says it needs much more attention.
