Daily figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are five patients on trolleys in the A&E Unit at Ennis General, with the remainder on the hospital’s wards.
There are 21 people in a similar situation at Limerick Regional, and 12 at University Hospital Galway.
