More than 10,600 people are still claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment here in Clare.
While more than 100 people closed their PUP claims to return to work in this county last week, 10,611 workers received the government support into their bank accounts.
Figures from the Department of Social Protection also show the number of people in Clare who have claimed the Enhanced Illness Benefit since the beginning of the pandemic is fast approaching the 3,000 mark.
