University Hospital Limerick is once again the most overcrowded facility in the country today.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 100 people waiting for a bed at the facility during morning rounds.
Of these, 36 were in the emergency department while 64 were in wards elsewhere.
A total of 61 patients were on trolleys at University Hospital Galway while 39 were without a bed at Tallaght University Hospital.
