The latest schools league tables shows details on how the country's secondary schools are performing when it comes to sending student on to third level.
Out of 18 Clare schools listed in the latest school league tables, three had a 100% record when it came to the number of students who went on to third level education this September.
These were St Joseph's Community College in Kilkee, Rice College, Ennis and Kilrush Community School.
In the case of five schools; Post Primary School Kilmihil, Coláiste Mhuire Ennis, Mean Scoil CBS Ennistymon, St Flannan's College Ennis and St Anne's Community College Killaloe, between 92% and 97% began college courses this year.
The remaining ten schools saw between 50 and 83% of leaving cert students going on to third level.
The Institute of Guidance Counsellors has hit out at the league tables on so called 'feeder schools' for college courses.
President of the Institute, Betty McLoughlin says the tables don't take the right criteria into account.
