Element Six, which is based in the Shannon Industrial Estate, is to announce the engineering and manufacturing positions this morning, as part of a seven million euro investment.
It will bring to 550, the number of people employed by the industrial diamond manufacturer, more than double its employment base in 2009, a time when the plant was on the brink of closure.
Clare's Junior Minister at the Department of Jobs, Pat Breen, has described today's announcement is a vote of confidence in the region.
