Clare homeowners installed the sixth-highest total of rooftop solar panels in the country during January.
New data from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland shows they were fitted to 100 homes here last month.

Throughout the month, €208,750 in grants were awarded to homes in this county for photo-voltaic panels.
Grants worth €4.6m were dished out nationwide.
