Mom + The Rebels, “Swayze” – ISOTW – 20/06/23

Following the viral and radio success of their debut singles “Come By Me” and “Down By The River”, MOM + THE REBELS return with another feel-good banger, true to their refreshingly-unique pop sound!

“SWAYZE” has the same banjo and bass-driven foundation that fans have grown to love from MOM + THE REBELS but with a strong 80’s disco influence on the production.

Lyrically it tells the story of two people realising that they are destined for each other and just leaning into the feeling.

Dedicated to the fans that made their debut single “Come By Me” go viral back in 2020 alongside a meme of Patrick Swayze dancing to it “SWAYZE” may just be the SONG OF THE SUMMER 2023!
7-time All-Ireland champion harp and banjo player, Lisa Canny, from Co. Mayo met Bristol-born producer and bass player Dejay Edmund in a studio in London in 2016.

When their two worlds collided something magical happened.

They spent the next 3 months living and working out of a tiny studio with just one microphone and a whole world of fusion to explore.

Now with a catalogue of dozens of songs ready for release in their unique pop sound MOM + THE REBELS are here to have their say!

The duo will tour UK and Ireland later this year and early 2024.

Tickets go on sale in July.
