In Profile – Seamus Connolly

Alan Morrissey’s latest guest on In Profile is Seamus Connolly.

Seamus, who is from Kilbaha, is one of the country’s leading bronze sculptors and is best known for his highly acclaimed life-size portraits.

Seamus’ work includes a sculpture of a young Richard Harris in Kilkee, which was unveiled by Hollywood star, Russell Crowe, a life-size piece of Kerry footballing legend Páidí Ó’ Se in Ventry, A large sculpture called “Goat” for Lahinch Golf Course and a life-size bust of the Ireland and Munster great Anthony Foley, which can be seen in Shannon Rugby Club at Thomond Park.
