Alan Morrissey’s guest on In Profile this week is Mary Kelly.
Mary will be very well known to people as the woman behind Mary Kelly’s shop, which was a long-time fixture on O’ Connell Street in Ennis.
Mary made the tough decision to permanently close the shop last year, after 40 years in the county town. However, there’s no doubt that Mary had a lot of very loyal customers and made a lot of friends during her four decades behind the counter.
Mary is a brilliant person to have a chat with and her life story is fascinating and entertaining.
