Alan Morrissey’s guest on this week’s In Profile is Jonathan McGrath.
Jonathan is an impressive young man. The Killaloe native was born with cerebral palsy which affects both of his legs.
However, he didn’t let that prevent him from achieving in the swimming pool. Jonathan joined the Irish Paralympic swim team in 2008 and competed at the 2010 World Championships and 2011 European Championships.

Jonathan represented Ireland at multiple European and World Championships, including the 2019 World Para-Swimming Championships which were held in London.
His most notable appearance was at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, as part of Team Ireland.
