In Profile – Anthony Daly

Today we present our 100th In Profile interview.

And our latest guest is the one and only Anthony Daly.

Anthony was the first Clare man in 81 years to lift the Liam McCarthy Cup after that hard fought win over Offaly in the 1995 All-Ireland Final.

He got a second chance to lift Liam following Clare’s final victory over Tipperary two years later.

During the course of his career, Anthony also won three Munster medals and three All Stars, while he won five county titles and one provincial crown with his club, Clarecastle. He has also managed Clare and Dublin, amongst others.

You can hear Anthony’s thoughts on hurling on our TV screens, podcasts and newspaper articles, while he is now also a publican. It was an absolute pleasure to sit down and chat with such a legend and I can’t think of a more fitting guest for our 100th episode of In Profile.
