Vincent had an incredible career as a journalist, spending almost thirty years with the Irish Examiner and Evening Echo in Cork.

Vincent was the only journalist in the world to get an exclusive interview with Michael Jackson on his ‘Bad’ tour in 1988.
He has also written two books, including Send ‘Em Home Sweatin’, the story of the showbands and ballrooms during the 1960s.
