This week’s guest on In Profile is Niall Colgan. Niall, who lives in Killaloe, is a highly acclaimed, award-winning hair stylist. He is the owner of Niall Colgan Hairdressing on O’Callaghan Strand in Limerick City.
Last year he received the Irish Hairdressers Federation (IHF) Icon Award, which celebrates individuals who have made a lasting impact on the industry.
The Icon Award is even more remarkable, given it came twelve years after Niall hit what he describes as “rock bottom.”
Things took a bad turn for Niall after winning the Salon of the Year award in October 2013, leading to him almost ending it all.
