Make-A-Wish is asking the public to come behind their fundraising campaign on this ‘Wish Week’.
Culminating on Mother’s Day, this week marks a concerted appeal to the public to help bring joy to seriously ill children, and their families across Ireland, by making a donation.
10-year-old Kate Maher from Broadford, who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, quadriplegia and also experiences seizures, was granted her wish of an electric bike and trailer which now means she can go on walks and cycles with the family.
