91 On Trolleys At UHL As Week Begins

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is almost two dozen more than the next busiest facility.

The latest INMO figures show there were 91 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 46 of those in the Emergency Department alone.

The overall figure is 23 more than Cork University Hospital, the second busiest in the country.
