Clare County Council has formally approved the event licence for this year’s Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
It means the event can now officially go ahead from the 13th to the 21st of August in Ennis.
The green light has been given to health and safety plans relating to traffic management, crowd control and the general co-ordination of this large-scale event, with some conditions attached.
