Water supply is returning for customers in East Clare following repair works.
Roughly 500 properties in the Whitegate and Mountshannon areas were without a supply overnight due to a burst main.

However Uisce Eireann crews have now restored the system following repairs carried out on site today.
The utility is advising that customers at the end of the network may experience intermittent disruption or low water pressure for a number of hours.
Customers may also experience short-term discolouration to their supply.
