The manager of Avenue United admits it will take some time for them to get over the disappointment of their FAI Junior Cup exit.
A 2-0 loss to North End in Roslevan saw the curtain come down on their season in this years national competition, just two weeks after their Munster Junior Cup journey also came to an end.

It means their wait to get back to the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup continues, with a gap of over 20 years now to overcome since their last appearance at that stage.
Avenue boss David Russell says its hard to explain what went wrong.
