A North Clare village could be the latest to benefit from a housing boost.
An Ennis Company has lodged plans to build a new estate in Corofin.
Keogh Homes LTD is the driving force behind efforts to build 28 new homes on an over 1 hectare site at Baunkyle.
The proposal would involve 14 semi-detached houses and 14 duplex units, consisting of 19x two-bed units, 7x three-bed properties and 2 x four-bed dwellings.
The application also makes provision for 45 parking spaces, while a Part V planning agreement has also been struck with the council meeting at least 3 and as many as 6 of the homes will be used for social or affordable housing.
Clare County Council is accepting public submissions until April 13th and will make a decision in early May.
