Miltown boss Sean O’Brien says he was relieved to see his side come out on top of an entertaining showdown with Doonbeg in the opening round of the TUS Clare senior football championship.
Five second half two pointers from Cian Mahony were key scores as Miltown picked up their first win of the group stages with a 1-21 to 2-12 victory.
Up next for them is a showdown with Cratloe before rounding off the group against defending champions Eire Óg.
