Peacefully at her home on the 27th of July, 2026.
Pre-deceased by her father Seamus and her mother Mary (Mim), by her brother Kieran and by other family members and some great friends.
Sadly missed by her many cousins and relatives, by her wonderful neighbours and especially her very close friends and work colleagues.
She will be deeply regretted by her wide circle of friends from Gort GAA Hurling Club, Gort Show, St. Patrick’s Day committee, The Cooley Collins Festival, Gort social services and the many families of all the people she looked after over the years.

A gathering of Mary’s relatives and friends will take place in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Thursday morning, July 30th, from 11am followed by removal at 11.50am to St. Colman’s Church Gort for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Mary will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilmacduagh cemetery. Flowers welcome as Mary loved flowers. Please note the funeral mass will not be livestreamed.
The family and friends of Mary deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. A special word of thanks to all who cared for Mary over the years. Finally much gratitude to all her kind neighbours and friends for all they have done for her through the years.
