Clare boss Brian Lohan is pleased with the manner in which his side ground out a first home championship victory since 2024 by defeating Waterford in Zimmer Biomet Pairc Chiosiog.
A late goal from Shane Meehan eventually sealed a 2-33 to 4-21 victory over the Deise with Peter Duggan also finding the net early in the second period.
Up next for Clare is another home tie when Limerick come to Ennis on Sunday May 3rd.
Lohan says while working on defensive issues will be a target for that date, he’s pleased with how his side put the game to bed.
You can hear from Brian Lohan along with Brendan Bugler, Diarmuid Ryan and Cathal Malone on this evenings Sideline View Review from 6pm
