Little Girl From Shannon Selected As Face Of Children’s Charity Campaign

A girl from Clare has been selected as the face of an important children’s charity campaign.

Four year old Meabh Lynch, from Shannon, will front this years Trick or Treat for Sick Children campaign which encourages schools to host a Halloween themed fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital Group.

Meabh was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of three and spent 19 weeks in Temple Street Children’s Hospital. But fortunately, her mother Maria Sheehan says she has made drastic improvement in the last 12 months.

Maria who is principal of St Caimin’s Community School in Shannon, says hosting the campaign was a great way to give back to Temple Street and that any donation is incredibly welcome to families caring for a sick child.
