Kilmurry Ibrickane boss Enda Coughlan says his side won’t be getting carried away after opening their 2026 TUS Clare senior football championship with a victory.
The Bricks recorded the highest tally of the opening round as they registered 4-14 in their win over St Breckans
They now take on Lissycasey in Round Two, with the winners of that game likely to secure a seeded status for the quarter final draw.
Coughlan says while they were pleased with many aspects of their performance, there is also plenty to work on
Meanwhile Ennistymon manager Brendan Rouine says they will need to target a more consistent performance in their Round Two outing.
Goals from Cillian Rouine and Gearoid Barry saw them overcome St Josephs by 2-13 to 1-11, which puts them in pole position to qualify from the group.
