A total of €19,000 has been awarded to childminders in Clare through a Government grant.
Under the Childminding Development Grants, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, Norma Foley, has announced €410,000 will go to 413 childminders nationwide.

It’s the largest amount approved since the scheme was introduced.
Of those who applied in Clare, 19 have been successful and have each received an allocation of €1,000.
