Clare’s U-20 hurlers have secured their passage to the knockout stages of the Munster Championship with two games to go.
The Banner battled past Limerick on a full time score of 0-18 to 0-15 in O’Garney Park Sixmilebridge last night.

Inagh Kilnamona’s Fred Hegarty led the scoring stakes for Clare, firing 0-10 over the hour, with late scores from Scariff’s Paul Rodgers and Cratloe’s Jamie Moylan sealing the win.
Terence Fahy’s charges now have a two-week break before travelling to FBD Semple Stadium to take on Tipperary.
