Yellow Thunderstorm Alert Issued for Clare

A thunderstorm warning’s been issued for Clare and 22 other counties.

Heavy rain is expected in this county and most of the country, apart from in Dublin, Wicklow and Donegal.

The status yellow alert is in place until 9pm tonight.

But Meteorologist Paul Downes says the midlands and parts of the south are likely to see the worst of the weather
