Works At Kilkee Wastewater Plant To Be Completed In May

Irish Water has confirmed that works at the Kilkee Wastewater Pumping Station will be completed before the start of the bathing season.

A ‘Do Not Swim’ notice, which was issued by Clare County Council in December, remains in place until works are completed in Mid-May.

It followed the release of storm water including raw sewage into the sea.
