Construction is underway on a second ALDI store in Ennis.

The new branch of the supermarket chain is set to open later this year in the building formerly occupied by Curley’s Furniture in Westpoint Retail Park.

The store, which will be powered entirely by renewable electricity, represents a €3.5 million investment and it’s anticipated it will create 30 permanent jobs as well as 50 jobs during the construction phase.
