The Chair of A West Clare Gaelcholáiste is hailing what’s been described as a game-changing opportunity to preserve the institution.
Coláiste Uí Chomhraidhe in Carraigaholt held discussions with the Local Authority this week, with a view to entering into an agreement which would see the building utilised for Ukrainian or International Protection Accommodation for up to five years.
The development would lead to a singifcant enhancement of community services, while including relevant refurbishment works on site.
