A West Clare Deputy Principal is calling for the significance of the delayed Junior Cert results date to be acknowledged.

Last year’s Junior Cert students will receive their results on Wednesday November 23rd, five months after they sat their exams.

The Department of Education has committed to undertaking a review of the exam process, with a lack of correctors and a second sitting of the leaving cert this summer cited as the reason for the two-month setback.
