On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey spoke to Lily Marrinan who is the Chairperson of the Monument Commemoration Committee. This weekend will see the highly anticipated unveiling of a War of Independence plaque take place in Kilkee.
Lily states that the unveiling of the plaque on Sunday spiral’s from the first Committee meeting last January. The plaque will be unveiled outside the library in Kilkee, which is a prominent area for the town.
