Waiting Game Continues For 2022 Clare Intercounty Managerial Appointments

Chairman of Clare GAA Jack Chaplin says negotiations are ongoing to appoint managers for numerous Clare intercounty teams for 2022.

Responding to a query from Eire Óg delegate Rory Hickey about the future of Colm Collins as Clare senior football manager, the Cratloe clubman outlined that no decision was yet reached.

He told the meeting that the only management that had been ratified was Brian Lohan as senior hurling manager and that discussions were ongoing to fill the remaining positions.

Sean Doyle has confirmed that he is stepping down as Clare U20 manager having completed three years in the role.

It is understood that minor football manager Dermot Coughlan and U20 boss Michael Neylon have indicated their intentions to remain in their positions for the coming season.
