Vote On Brexit Deal Delayed

The vote due to take place on the Brexit deal in the British House of Commons tomorrow, has been delayed.

British Prime Minister Theresa May is to make a statement to MPs this afternoon, in a move which represents a significant climbdown on the previous insistance that the vote would go ahead.

Today, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Tanaiste Simon Coveney have both insisted that no better deal will be offered to the UK. EU leaders are due to meet on Thursday.
