University Hospital Limerick is almost three times as overcrowded as the next busiest facility in the country today.
The Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation recorded 91 patients on trolleys at the Dooradoyle facility during this mornings rounds,
Meanwhile 38 of the service users at UHL, presented at the Emergency Department which is higher than the total figure at any other hospital in the country.
