Twin Town Revival Looking To Bring Economic Boost To Kilrush

The Honorary Consul of France is hopeful Kilrush’s twin town revival could bring an economic boost to both regions.

It follows the announcement that the West Clare town is reviving its 40-year-old relationship with Plouzané in France.

Although the two communities are almost 600km apart, the coastal French town is hoping to build partnerships around the Kilrush based Maritime Training Centre and the Irish whale and dolphin group.
