Eire Óg will be hoping to take another step towards a third consecutive title in this weekend’s TUS Clare senior football quarter-finals.

The Townies are bidding to become the first team since the Kilrush Shamrocks side of the 1970’s to achieve the feat, with their neighbours St Joseph’s Doora Barefield up next in Cusack Park.

The Parish have built on last year’s progress to make the last eight, having secured third spot in the group standings.
