Clare hurling selector James Moran feels every county will be eager to hit the New Year running.
The Banner’s 2023 season gets underway next Sunday afternoon with a trip to McDonagh Park in Nenagh to take on Liam Cahill’s Tipperary in the Munster hurling league.
That will be followed a week later with a showdown against Davy Fitzgerald’s Waterford in Cusack Park.
