Supporters To Expect Traffic Delays In Ennis For Sunday’s Hurling Clash

Gardaí are advising motorists of large volumes of traffic in Ennis on Sunday for Clare’s Munster senior hurling championship clash with Limerick.

More than 20,000 spectators are expected to descend on the county town, with the game getting underway at Cusack Park from 2 o’clock.

There will be no parking near the match venue, with the exception of those with parking passes, while people who do have parking passes for Glór and Clare FM must access the area via the Causeway link road only.

There will beparking at Clare County Council Offices on New Road and the Abbey Street and Parnell Street Car parks, with paid parking at the Holy Family Car Park and legal on-street parking where available.

A limited number of parking passes will be also available from Clare and Limerick County Boards for disabled parking spaces.
