A Status Yellow Weather Warning for rain has been issued for Clare from tomorrow evening.
High levels of rain are expected and the national forecaster has warned of the risk of flooding as well as the potential for poorly-drained soils becoming waterlogged.
The alert affects this county as well as Carlow, Cork, Kerry, Kilkenny, Laois, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford.

The warning comes into effect at 6pm on Thursday evening and will remain in place until 6am on Friday morning.
