Met Eirean has issued a yellow Sleet and snow warning for this county, as well as Tipperary, Galway, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Wicklow.
Its forecasting sleet and snow overnight tonight, leading to some accumulations, most significant on higher ground and this could lead to hazardous travelling conditions, poor visibility and ice on untreated surfaces.
