Shannon Heritage Sites High On Agenda Ahead Of Junior Transport Minister’s Clare Visit

The ongoing impasse surrounding Shannon Heritage sites is expected to be high on the agenda as the Junior Transport Minister visits Clare today.

Jack Chambers is in the county this morning and will make his way to Shannon Airport before attending private meetings with Clare County Council.

Negotiations between the Government, the Council and the Shannon Airport Group are understood to have made progress, with a renewed offer of State funding expected to be made to the local authority in the near future.
