Eire Og boss Matt Shannon is confident his side will be up for the battle in this weekend’s Clare senior hurling quarter-finals.

The Townies are on a revenge mission as they take on an Inagh-Kilnamona side who ended their involvement in last year’s championship at the semi-final stage.

The Ennis outfit overcame Clooney-Quin in their last outing, with that result sealing their progression to the last eight.
