It is expected that Keelan Sexton and Darren O’Neill will miss out on Sunday’s clash with Meath in the National Football League.

The Kilmurry Ibrickane forward was forced off with a hamstring injury in the opening half of Clare’s one point win over Louth in Cusack Park, while Eire Og midfielder O’Neill suffered a broken thumb late in the game.

Eire Og duo Mark McInerney and Gavin Cooney are likely to be the front runners to replace Sexton, with both getting on the scoreboard when introduced from the bench last weekend.
