2013 All Ireland winner Colin Ryan feels the level Clare have been playing at this year should be a key factor in Saturday’s All Ireland quarter-final showdown with Wexford.

Brian Lohan’s side went through the Munster round robin unbeaten, with victories over Tipperary, Cork and Waterford, along with a draw against Limerick.

It took extra-time to decide the Munster final, while Wexford scraped through the Leinster series on scoring difference as the third placed qualifier.

They saw off the challenge of Kerry to advance to this stage, but Ryan says the level is going to go up another few levels this weekend for the Slaneysiders.

Throw in on Saturday in Semple Stadium is at 3.45pm with commentary on Clare FM in association with Matt Waters Clare Fruit and Veg, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off License Turnpike Ennis.
